Planning Helps Do More

After doing a certain number of things during a day, your inner voice might tell you to stop and relax.
The level at which that inner voice starts talking is different for everyone, but most probably it’s less
than all the things you wanted to do that day.

If after completing the tasks at work I need to do some language excercises, read a book and write a journal entry,
it will be really easey for my inner voice to convince me I’ve already done enough for the day.

It will do its best to make me forget about those extra tasks.

After doing this for some time, I learned that even if I remember about all those extra tasks,
I will still more likely do them if they’re on my list for the day.
Especially when crossing a task increases the some counter and some bar on a chart goes up.

I don’t know how that effect is called, but it’s real and it works.
